Jon specializes in the snatch, clean & jerk, and strength training. He started CrossFit while in the Marine Corps, which he says was perfect for him because of the constant variation in the workouts.
“Upon learning weightlifting through CrossFit, it grabbed my attention, and I decided to leave CrossFit and specialize strictly in weightlifting. Due to injuries from my time in the military, I decided to focus my weightlifting knowledge on coaching,” he says. “I loved working with athletes, so it was the best way for me stay as active as possible in the sport since I cannot train on a competitive level.”
